Site work for a mixed-use development in Sulphur, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; and power facility.

Bids are solicited and a contract award will be made pursuant to the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974 as amended (Title 61, O.S. 1981, Sections 101-136 et seq.) A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid shall be attached to all bids as a guarantee that the successful bidder will , within ten ( 10) days of the date of notice of award, enter into contract and file the required bonds . No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the actual date of opening thereof . Bidders shall fully inform themselves of the nature of the work and conditions under which it will be performed. The Contractor shall adopt methods consistent with good construction practices and shall take all necessary precautions to prevent damage to the existing building , property and right of way . Any damage due to the Contractor's negligence shall be repaired at the Contractor's expense to the satisfaction of the City's Representative . Any proposal , modification , or revision received at the office designated in the solicitation after the exact time specified for receipt of offers is " late" , and will not be considered. Emailed, faxed or electronic proposals will not be accepted . You may contact Andy Freeman, City Manager at 580-622-5096 for bid questions regarding this project . The price bid on ALL items shall include all materials, labor , equipment and incidentals, including maintenance bond , payment bond and performance bond , necessary to complete the work . Bidders must be reputable and provide references upon request . Bidders and Sub - Contractors shall have all current State of Oklahoma commercial licenses and required company information on file , that are required by the State of Oklahoma. Bidders and Sub -Contractors shall be bonded , insured , and meet licensing requirements per the City of Sulphur regulations . Bidders shall include a non-collusion affidavit with proposal . A copy of a non-collusion affidavit will be included in the bid packet . The pre-bid meeting, bid opening and bid awards are open to the public . The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids , waive any irregularities of technicalities without assigning any reason therefore , and to make the awards in the best interest of the Owner.
