Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Windsor, Colorado. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
Windsor Severance Fire Rescue is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the design and construction of a Class A Firefighting Burn Tower. The tower will be used for training firefighters in realistic fire scenarios and must be constructed using shipping containers. The contractor will be responsible for the following: o Design and engineering of the burn tower. o Plans and permits for construction of the burn tower. o Procurement of materials, including shipping containers. o Shipping all materials to build site. o Construction and assembly of the burn tower. o Painting of the burn tower. o Installation of all training props as specified. o Ensuring compliance with all local building codes, applicable National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) standards, and fire safety regulations. o Conducting inspections and tests to ensure structural integrity and safety. o Providing as-built drawings and operational manuals upon completion. o Providing training for WSFR personnel in the operation of the burn tower.
