Bids are solicited for the roof replacement at the Knox County Landfill at the Knox County Courthouse. All applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules, and regulations must be complied with. Bidding documents, including drawings, project manual, addenda, and bid tabulations, are available in Adobe PDF format from www.klingnerplanroom.com. Bidders are encouraged to register as a Prime Bidder or Sub-Contractor on the site to receive documents and updates. Submit a certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government bonds at par value, or a satisfactory Bid Bond for 5% of the total bid with each submission. Knox County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept bids other than the lowest, and waive any irregularities or informalities. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications prior to awarding the contract. All questions must be submitted electronically referencing the project and specification section or plan sheet; phone inquiries are not accepted. Printing and shipping fees for hard copies are the responsibility of the contractor. There is no charge for PDF documents.
