Project Location: Knox County Landfill, 996 Knox Road 2150N, Oneida, IL 61447 The Work includes: 1. Contract 2026 Landfills 3 and 4 Construction a. Mobilization/Demobilization. b. Clearing and grubbing. c. Erosion control, topsoil stripping and stockpiling, dewatering. d. Landfill litter fence and security fence. e. Construction of Landfill 4 Cells 1 and 3 including underdrain system, liner system, leachate collection and conveyance system, and gas piping. f. Construction of the Landfill 4 Test Liner. g. Construction of Landfill 4 stormwater pond and appurtenances. h. Construction of Landfill 4 access and perimeter roads. i. Grading of the Soil Stockpile. j. Construction of the Residential Drop-off. k. Construction of the Landfill 3 stormwater system modifications including grading ditches and the stormwater pond, installing permanent erosion control, and installation of the pond outlet structure. l. Quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) survey, testing and documentation. m. Restoration including topsoiling, seeding, fertilization, and mulch.
