All work items in this Contract shall be completed within 60 calendar days following the date the Contractor is notified to proceed with work unless extended by the Owner or as provided herein. CR#: 2131343 This work includes the installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Orange Turnpike, Pine Ridge Road, Stage Road, and Still Road. Construction will include work zone traffic control, traffic signal installation, and box beam guide railing resetting. The owner of this contract is the Village of Monroe. The Village has previously procured the traffic signal mast arm. for the following Contract: Orange Turnpike, Pine Tree Road, Still Road, and Stage Road Traffic Signal Installation - This work includes the installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Orange Turnpike, Pine Ridge Road, Stage Road, and Still Road. Construction will include work zone traffic control, traffic signal installation, and box beam guide railing resetting. The owner of this contract is the Village of Monroe. Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof. Each bid or proposal must contain a non-collusion affidavit executed by the bidder or his authorized representative. Separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract sum, will be required of the successful bidder. This is an exempt public works capital improvement project and Bidders shall not include in their bid, sales, and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials which are to be incorporated into the work and which are to be separately sold by the Contractor to the Village of Monroe prior to incorporation into the work of the Contract. The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements of prevailing wage rates to be paid under the Contract. The Village and its representatives will not offer or supply anyone with the list of people that have obtained a copy of these bid specifications. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids.
