The North Country Rural Development Coalition is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for a CDBG Residential Rehabilitation Project in Upper Jay, New York. The project encompasses code compliance repairs and upgrades to a single-family residence, including but not limited to roof structure repair or replacement, window replacement to meet egress requirements, electrical panel replacement, safety improvements, and related health and environmental remediation as detailed in the Scope of Work. Contractors must secure all permits, conduct inspections, and pay associated fees. EPA RRP certification is required for pre-1978 housing. Proof of Workers’ Compensation and Liability Insurance is mandatory. All work must be completed within the project timeframes. Minority/Women Business Enterprise (MWBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) participation goals apply.
