Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a 56,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility.
Work includes construction of a 56,000 square feet teaching and simulation lab for Ivy Tech's Nursing and Health Sciences programs. This is a 2-story structure with a partial basement. Also included in this project is complete removal of Harshman Hall, Carrol Hall, and the utility tunnel that connects Carrol and Harshman Halls. An entry plaza and minor parking lot rework is also included.
