The contractor shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials, and power for the complete performance of asphalt pavement patching at various locations throughout the city, in accordance with the bidding documents as prepared by City Utilities Engineering Department, City of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Bids will only be accepted through the online bidding partner QuestCDN. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond, each in the amount of not less than 100% of the contract price. A. The purpose of this project is to restore asphalt pavement in the city where City Utilities has excavated the pavement to perform maintenance or repair on City Utilities infrastructure. The locations of these asphalt restorations are distributed throughout the city, and the Asphalt Restoration Locations and Quantities exhibit included in this Contract lists the locations and construction quantities estimated to be required at each location. Concrete infrastructure such as sidewalk and curbs will not be restored with this Contract. Other miscellaneous restoration such as lawn restoration will be required at some of the locations. B. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining the exact field location of each restoration Site from the Engineer. Addresses shown in the Asphalt Restoration Locations and Quantities exhibit are for reference only and are not intended to identify the precise limits of restoration. Work completed at an incorrect location shall not be eligible for payment, and the Contractor shall perform the restoration at the correct location at no additional cost to the Owner. C. The Contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, vehicles, and incidental facilities necessary to perform the Work. No temporary utilities, sanitary facilities, or field offices will be provided by the Owner or required on Site
