Sealed bids are invited from experienced and eligible contractors for Project M-1: 2026 Miscellaneous Masonry Repairs at Various Locations. Each bid proposal must include all labor, material, and services necessary to complete the projects in strict accordance with the prepared drawings and specifications. Bids shall be received from a single prime contractor. Bids received after the specified time or at another location will be returned unopened. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond made payable to Fort Wayne Community Schools in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. Bidders may not modify, withdraw, or cancel their bid for sixty (60) days following the designated time and date for receipt of bids without consent. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount are required from the successful bidder, due no later than ten (10) days after execution of the contract, and will remain in effect for twelve (12) months after Substantial Completion. Fort Wayne Community Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive informalities, irregularities, and inconsistencies in any or all bids. Plans, specifications, instructions to bidders, and bid forms are available at Eastern Engineering’s Virtual Planroom or at the office of Eastern Engineering. A refundable deposit is required for each complete set of plans and specifications, limited to one set per contractor. Shipping and handling charges apply for delivery of bidding documents. Unlocked electronic PDF sets are available for an additional cost. Unsuccessful bidders can return documents in good condition within ten days for a refund.
