Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

Replacement and upgrade of the patient Wi-Fi system, including installation of a new router and extender or mesh components and full integration of updated equipment with the existing network. Work in Building 1 includes replacing selected patient Wi-Fi access points, consoles, switches, a server, and a firewall on the first floor; replacing access points and a switch, removing one access point, and adding CAT6A cabling for the router in room 3239 on the second floor; installing wiring, a directional antenna, and a Wi-Fi router outside room 3239 on the third floor; and replacing access points and a switch on the fourth floor. Work in Building 2 includes installing a Wi-Fi repeater, a Wi-Fi router for the repeater, and three access points with all required wiring. Work in Building 8 includes installing two access points with all wiring and equipment, installing a switch for those access points, installing an omnidirectional antenna on the exterior west-facing wall, installing a Wi-Fi router for the antenna, and providing racking for the switch; this work shall occur during off-hours from 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. Equipment to be provided includes Ruckus R650 or equivalent access points, ICX 7150 or equivalent PoE switches, compatible 1000BASE-SX SFP transceivers, and CAT6A cabling, with all materials fully compatible. The contractor shall coordinate subcontractor work, provide a site-specific safety plan and construction schedule prior to starting, submit required submittals to the COR, provide all usernames and passwords created during installation prior to final payment, return all replaced equipment to VANIHCS Engineering, dispose of all waste, and clean the work area after each shift. Work shall be completed within 90 calendar days of Notice to Proceed and performed during normal business hours unless otherwise specified. No work may begin before the Contracting Officer issues the Notice to Proceed, and only the Contracting Officer may alter contract requirements.
