**As of April 6, 2026, the project was awarded to Sheilds Paving for: Contract A in the amount of $351,270 Contract B in the amount of $538,660 Contract C in the amount of $120,850 with a total awarded amount of $1,010,780.00" Contract A - 2 +/- Mill and Resurface - Bituminous resurfacing of various streets in Hampton Township which includes cutting keyways at abutting roadways , 25,600 S.Y. of 2" rotomilling and profiling of existing roadway surface , 905 S..Y. of Base Repair , 25,600 S.Y. of 2" 9.5 mm Fine Graded Superpave bituminous wearing course 0.0 to 0.3 Esal's with Forta Fiber or Approved Equal , traffic control and the necessary preparatory and cleanup work . Contract B - 2 +/- and 3 +/- Mill and Resurface - Bituminous resurfacing of various streets in Hampton Township which includes cutting keyways at abutting roadways , 19,350 S.Y. of 2" rotomilling and profiling of existing roadway surface , 12,600 S.Y. of 3" rotomilling and profiling of existing roadway surface 1,360 S..Y. of Base Repair , 19,350 S.Y. of 2 " 9.5 mm Fine Graded Superpave bituminous wearing course 0.0 to 0.3 Esal's with Forta Fiber or Approved Equal , 1,660 Tons of 2" 19 mm Superpave bituminous binder course 0.0 to 0.3 Esal's with Forta Fiber or Approved Equal , 12,600 S.Y. of 1 1/2" 9.5 mm Fine Graded Superpave bituminous wearing course 0.0 to 0.3 Esal's with Forta Fiber or Approved Equal traffic control and the necessary preparatory and cleanup work . Contract C - 2 +/- Mill and Resurface - Bituminous resurfacing of various streets in Hampton Township which includes cutting keyways at abutting roadways , 9,000 S.Y. of 2" rotomilling and profiling of existing roadway surface , 200 S..Y. of Base Repair , 9,000 S.Y. of 2" 9.5 mm Fine Graded Superpave bituminous wearing course 0.0 to 0.3 Esal's with Forta Fiber or Approved Equal , traffic control and the necessary preparatory and cleanup work . For All Contracts , Hampton Township Reserves the right to award the contract consisting of any or all roads within the scope of work . Hampton Township reserves the right to add or delete roads and / or quantities at the unit prices bid . The proper title for the bid is dependent upon the bid that is submitted . All bids must be submitted in separate envelopes with the proper designation . There must be separate bid bonds submitted for each contract . One bid bond for all three contracts is not acceptable . All bidders must be PennDOT pre -qualified as a prime contractor and meet the work classification codes of E, F, and F1. All bids submitted must have the contractor's valid pre - qualification certification attached to the outside of the bid or it will be rejected . There are no exceptions . If specifications are to be mailed , there will be an additional $ 20.00 per document per contract . A document is considered one contract . Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds , along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified , as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement . Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages apply to this project . Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania , made to the order of Hampton Township in an amount equal to ten percent ( 10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that , if the Proposal is accepted , the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within 15 days after Notice of the Award of the Contract . If more time is necessary for the ascertainment of the lowest responsible bidder , Hampton Township reserves the right to award the contract at a later date , but not exceeding sixty (60 ) days from the date bids were submitted
