Sealed proposals are requested for the construction of the Paving and Appurtenances to Serve Artavia Section 46, LJA Job No. 1968-14046. Bidding documents may be examined at LJA Engineering, Inc., AGC of Texas, Construct Connect, and Amtek, or obtained upon payment of a non-refundable fee. Bidders may submit proposals electronically via the designated website after registration, or at the office of LJA Engineering, Inc. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified, or cashier's check payable to Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 158 in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the submitted bid must accompany each proposal. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The successful bidder will be the responsible bidder deemed most advantageous to the District and offering the best and most economical project completion. Compliance with Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code is required. Bidders must declare they have not received a governmental notice of noncompliance with this subchapter, or have taken steps to ensure compliance if such a notice has been received. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to ENGINEER. As necessary, interpretations or clarifications will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties having received the Bidding Documents.
