Question Submitted: 02/09/2026 2:28 pm The work consists of the installation of a modern roundabout at the intersection of Buck Road and Glenwood Road in Rossford. The project includes new asphalt pavement, concrete pavement, concrete walk, concrete curbs and gutters, water and drainage improvements, earthwork, right of way, maintenance of traffic, turf establishment, lighting, pavement markings, and signing. Bidders are required to order bid documents directly from Becker Impressions to be placed on the official list of plan holders. Bids must be submitted on forms from the bid packet and must include the names of all interested persons or companies. Each bid must be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for 100% of the bid amount or a certified check for at least 10% of the bid amount. The successful bidder must provide Performance Bond and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond each for 100% of the bid. Bids may be withdrawn prior to the closing time but cannot be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and accept the most favorable bid. Domestic steel use requirements apply per Ohio Revised Code 153.011. Contractors must be pre-qualified with the Ohio Department of Transportation and comply with requirements regarding workers compensation coverage and participation in the Drug-Free Workplace Program.
