Site work and paving for a road / highway in Courtdale, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Courtdale Borough is requesting bids for the 2026 Paving Program. The project generally includes the base work of a 4.5” mill and overlay for 4,900 square yards of roadway, with alternate bids for mill and overlay of approximately 5,400 square yards. Bids are to be submitted for Contract 26-1: General Construction. Bidding documents can be obtained from the designated website. Bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond must be included with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. All questions about the bidding documents are to be submitted via the designated website. Bidders must comply with state antibid-rigging regulations, submit a non-collusion affidavit with the bid, adhere to federal and state environmental requirements, and utilize the Federal Government’s E-Verify system for employment verification. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies. All bids are irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date unless certain delays occur. The owner reserves the right to waive defects or reject any or all proposals. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
