Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project consists of but is not limited to the removal and replacement of roadway pavement and related items such as asphalt base repairs, leveling, drainage improvements, pavement markings, ADA compliant concrete curb ramps and signal improvements (if specified in design of curb ramps). In accordance with this contract, the work will take place during calendar years 2026 and 2027 along the following roads owned and maintained by the County. The County reserves the right to add and/or remove roads from the list below or otherwise modify the order or priority of roads to be repaved, to suit the needs of the County at any time during the life of this contract. Calendar Year 2026 Schedule North Wales Road ADA Ramp Design in Montgomery Township: Design ADA compliant concrete curb ramps and prepare revised signal plans as directed at the following intersection: o North Wales Road & Knapp Road - 3 quadrants, NE, SE & SW Corners (signalized) Sumneytown Pike ADA Ramp Design in Lower Gwynedd Township: Design ADA compliant concrete curb ramps as directed at the following intersection/crossing: o Wellington Drive (West Entrance) - 2 quadrants at Sumneytown crossing only (nonsignalized) Pavement Marking Replacements on sections of Butler Pike, Germantown Pike, Penllyn-Blue Bell Pike, West Point Pike and Sumneytown Pike in multiple townships as shown on the 2026-27 Location Maps.: Remove existing pavement markings as directed by the County Representative and replace in-kind. Bergey Road from Old Sumneytown Pike to Old Skippack Road in Upper Salford Township: Mill and overlay the entire width of the roadway. Complete pavement base repairs and install leveling where marked out in the field by the County Representative. Replace pavement markingsin-kind. Old Sumneytown Pike from Sumneytown Pike (SR63) to Old Skippack Road in Upper Salford Township: Mill and overlay the entire width of the roadway. Complete pavement base repairs and install leveling where marked out in the field by the County Representative. Replace pavement markings in-kind. Schultz Road from Morris Road (SR2001) to Shearer Road in Worcester Township: Mill and overlay the entire width of the roadway. Complete pavement base repairs and install leveling where marked out in the field by the County Representative. Replace pavement markings in-kind. Calendar Year 2027 Schedule Sumneytown Pike from Royal Avenue to Wellington Drive (East Entrance) in Lower Gwynedd and Upper Gwynedd Townships. Construct ADA compliant concrete curb ramps as designed in 2026. Mill and overlay the entire width of the roadway (excludes area of recent paving repairs - to be marked out in field by County Representative). Complete pavement base repairs and install leveling where marked out in the field by the County Representative. Replace pavement markings in-kind. Penllyn-Blue Bell Pike Repairs between railroad overpass west to Old Penllyn Pike in Lower Gwynedd Township. Mill and overlay repair area (full width of the roadway) as directed by County Add/Alternate Location - At the discretion of the County, the following location may be incorporated into this Contract in either 2026 or 2027: Ridge Pike from Butler Pike to Joshua Road in Whitemarsh Township: Mill and overlay multiple full lane width repair locations (min 50' length) as directed by the County Representative. Lorimer Park Entrance Driveway in Abington Township: Mill and overlay one lane of driveway as directed by the County Representative. Replace pavement markings in-kind. The park entrance will be closed for the duration of paving.
