Demolition and new construction of a municipal facility in Spring City, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for the construction of a municipal facility.
The work includes all labor, materials, tools, oversight, and permits required to remove and replace the existing Borough Hall and add a public works building. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract must be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the instructions. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. Bids will be received online, and the Borough of Spring City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days. All bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting. Questions may be submitted through PennBid's "Messages/Public Q&A" tab on or before 4:00 PM on March 3, 2026. Responses will be provided via PennBid to all registered parties.
