Reference Number 0000411825 Question Deadline 03/03/2026 at 12:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online Yes The City of East Point is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to dismantle and remove an existing natural gas engine-driven pump and to supply, install, and commission a new electric motor-driven system with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD). Due to structural limitations, the existing engine cannot be removed in one piece and must be dismantled in place. General Requirements - Insurance Required Award Requirements - All or None Award Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 100 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the project. Work shall include, but is not limited to, the following: 1 Removal and Dismantling . Remove all water piping . Remove all drain piping . Remove all natural gas lines . Remove muffler and all associated components . Remove oil filter and associated piping . Disassemble the engine from top to bottom until all equipment is removed down to the concrete foundation . Remove all dismantled components from the site and dispose of them in accordance with applicable regulations 2 New Equipment Supply and Installation The Contractor shall furnish and install a new electric motor system meeting the following minimum requirements: . Motor Power: 400 Horsepower . Voltage: 575 Volts . Speed: 1188 RPM . Phase: 3-Phase . Drive Type: Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Installation shall include all required: . Mounting hardware and base modifications CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES . Supply all parts, materials, equipment, and labor . Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal codes . Comply with OSHA regulations and City of East Point safety requirements . Coordinate work to minimize disruption to plant operations . Maintain a clean and safe jobsite at all times. STARTUP, TRAINING, AND WARRANTY . Provide system startup and commissioning . Provide operator training for City of East Point personnel . Provide a minimum one-year warranty on all equipment and workmanship
