The proposed work for the Lighting & FA Renovations at Glen Springs Elementary includes ceiling, fire alarm, and lighting upgrades. The fire alarm system is to be replaced throughout the entire campus. In the main building, all acoustical ceiling tile systems are to be replaced, all lights and controls are to be replaced, and all lighting wiring shall be replaced with new. In the food service building, all acoustical ceiling tiles are to be replaced with the existing grids to remain, and lights and controls in most interior spaces are to be replaced, but lighting wiring may be reused where practical. The general contractor must ensure all scope identified on C001 under "General Contractor Scope of Work" is included. Detailed specifications are provided in the attached specifications manual and drawings. Sealed Task Order Quotations must be delivered to the SBAC Purchasing Department by the specified deadline and must be marked with the RFTOQ number and Title. Only quotations from attendees of the mandatory Pre-Quote Conference will be accepted. Payment and performance bonds are required for quotations over $200,000. Liquidated damages will apply at the specified rate per day. Faxed quotations will not be accepted. The award will go to the qualified Quoter submitting the lowest price Task Order Quotation.
