Email questions to purchasing@sratx.org The Sabine River Authority of Texas is seeking bids for labor, materials, and equipment to perform a paving project in the proposed locations on Lake Fork and Lake Tawakoni. The Sabine River Authority reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive any formalities. It is the intent and purpose of these contract documents to provide for the rehabilitation of existing asphalt paving for the Sabine River Authority of Texas (SRA - Lake Fork and Lake Tawakoni Divisions located in Wood and Hunt County, Texas. Contractor is to perform all work as indicated, complete in place including all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, and all other related items for the proposed project. Project shall consist rehabilitation of existing asphalt paving at the HWY 17, SH 154, HWY 515 and Caddo Creek Boat Ramps utilizing TXDOT Specifications. 1.1.1 It is the intent of the Contract Documents to describe to the Contractor the complete work to be performed under this contract, and to briefly set forth the minimum requirements for materials, equipment, labor, and workmanship which are considered essential to meet design requirements and the desired end product which are compatible with accepted standards for this type of work. 1.1.2 It is also the intent of the Contract Documents, to define the scope, configuration, and quality of the completed project. The Contractor shall clearly understand, and he agrees, that any and all items of work required for the project shall be completed in a workmanlike manner by skilled and competent workmen, in the scope indicated and as intended by the Owner. 1.2 Project Summary 1.2.1 HWY 17 - Install Frictional Asphaltic Surface Preservation Treatment (TXDOT Special Specification 3028), including Cleaning and Sealing Joints and Cracks (TXDOT Item 712). Install parking stripes at existing locations. 1.2.2 HWY 154 - Rehabilitate existing asphalt roadway and parking lot by Pulvamix and Milling as indicated. Install 10" of cement treated base and install 2" Compacted Type D HMAC. Install parking stripes at existing locations. 1.2.3 HWY 515 - Rehabilitate existing asphalt roadway and parking lot by Pulvamix and Milling as indicated. Install 10" of cement treated base and install 2" Compacted Type D HMAC. Install parking stripes at existing locations. 1.2.4 Caddo Creek Boat Launch - Rehabilitate existing asphalt parking lot by Pulvamix. Install 10" of cement treated base and install 2" Compacted Type D HMAC. Install parking stripes at existing locations. 1.25 Additive Alternate 1 (HWY Utility Pole Removal and Power Line Relocate) - Relocate existing overhead utilities underground, install conduits, wiring, terminations, and grounding, remove existing wooden utility pole, and complete all connections and testing for a fully operational system. 1.26 Additive Alternate 2 (HWY 154 Boat Ramp Repair) - Remove deteriorated ramp section, prep subgrade, install base, rebar, and place new reinforced concrete tied into existing slab. Include all required dewatering/cofferdam measures and site restoration. 1.3 Existing Conditions 1.3.1 The existing asphalt paving is in various condition, items for crack sealing and subgrade reestablishment/paving will be performed at the discretion of the Owner. 1.3.2 TXDOT Standard Specification 2024 will be utilized unless otherwise noted.
