Renovation of a parking garage in Mississauga, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The Project will include the following scope: - Complete removal and replacement of all existing overburden, pavements and granular on the parking garage roof slab. - Complete removal and replacement of the waterproofing system on the entire garage roof slab. New waterproofing system to be 2-ply hot-applied rubberized asphalt, protection / drainage board. This item includes waterproofing downturn on the foundation walls. - Carry out localized concrete repairs to delaminated concrete on the topside and underside of the garage roof slab, including supply and install shoring. - Carry out localized through-slab concrete repairs to delaminated concrete on the garage roof slab, including supply and install shoring. - Carry out localized vertical concrete repairs to delaminated concrete on columns and walls, including supply and install shoring/bracing, where required. - Carry out localized full-depth concrete repairs to the slab-on-grade in the parking garage, where required. - Rout and seal construction joints at interior face of garage ramp walls and exterior garage exit stairwell walls. - Rout and seal cracks in the concrete pavement and slab-on-grade at garbage/loading area. -Carry out localized full depth concrete patch repairs to the slab-on-grade around the catch basins in parking garage, where required. - Repaint concrete at repaired and peeling paint areas at vertical elements and slab soffit, where required, including the underside of the suspended garage roof slab, columns, and walls. - Remove and replace existing garage roof drains with new bi-level drains including piping, where required. - Repaint guardrails and/or handrails around the garage ramp area, garage exit stairwell (interior and exterior), and near the driveway entrance. - Remove and replace two (2) damaged fence pickets at the garage ramp area. - Localized replacement of deteriorated/cracked/uneven interlocking and patio stones at the North patio of the building as required. Supply new bedding material where required to slope interlocking stones away from the building towards landscaped areas. New patio stones to match existing. - Supply and install new interlocking paver edging at the south side of patio. - Fully remove and replace the existing precast patio slab area at the East Walkway of the building as required. Supply new bedding material where required to slope interlocking stones away from the building towards landscaped areas. New patio stones to match existing. - Work will be multi-phased.
