The Iowa Department of Administrative Services is requesting bids for the replacement of the domestic water mains at the Mt. Pleasant Correctional Facility, located at 1200 E Washington St, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641. Bids must be submitted on the IMPACS Electronic Procurement System and accompanied by a bid security of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid must include a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check from a solvent U.S. bank. Substitute products will be considered if a written request is received prior to bid opening, as per Section 01 2500 Substitution Procedures. Bidders must comply with all affirmative action and equal employment opportunity provisions of the State of Iowa and the Federal Government. The project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax and Davis Bacon Wages do not apply. An optional pre-bid meeting is highly recommended.
