Description

Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Kansas City, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

The scope of work includes: grading the roadbed for 400 track feet; providing and laying down 294 tons of approved sub-ballast; providing and installing 400 track feet of rail and 246 track ties using 90# or larger rail with matching OTM; providing and distributing 274 tons of approved ballast; surfacing and dressing 400 track feet of track; and including any applicable taxes. All work must be performed according to AREMA Standards, and ballast shoulders must be dressed at the end of each workday. Contractors are responsible for all state and local permits, utility location and protection, proper site restoration, and lawful disposal of removed materials. The contractor is responsible for purchasing required insurance coverage and submitting verification via a Certificate of Insurance. Contractors who wish to submit a proposal must have completed Pre-Qualification questionnaire and must attend the pre-proposal meeting
