Open trench construction consists of approximately 388 LF of 6-inch C-900-DR-18 PVC pipe, 4,905 LF of 8-inch C-900-DR-18 PVC pipe, 6,721 LF of 12-inch C-900-DR-18 PVC pipe, and 2,997 LF of 14-inch C-900-DR-18 PVC pipe, and an approximately 220 LF of 12-inch C-900 DR-18 FPVC waterlines installed by horizontal directional drilling. The replacement of the new water service lines, service lines, meters, hydrants, connections to the existing system and site work to include roadway asphalt removal and replacement. The project also includes Installation of Five (5) new concrete vault with new PRV's which changes the water system configuration from a two-pressure zone system to a four-pressure zone to control pressure within a 35 to 95 psi design envelope range. All the waterline replacements will be 3 to 5 feet parallel to the existing waterlines and new waterline installation with 6' wide by 4' deep trench.
