The scope includes maintenance for either or both the Hiawatha Cemetery and the Mount Hope Cemetery. Responsibilities include mowing beginning by April 1, mowing and trimming as needed until April 15, then weekly mowing and trimming until July 1, and bi-weekly or as-needed mowing and trimming after July 1. Peonies may be trimmed after August 1 or earlier if requested. Grass clippings must be removed and surfaces cleaned, trash barrels emptied each time mowing is done, and all work inspected by the contractor to ensure proper completion. Any property damage must be reported to the Board, and care must be taken to avoid equipment contact with markers. Contractor payments are issued at the end of each month. The contractor is responsible for any damage and must hold a Commercial General Liability insurance policy with minimum specified limits for bodily injury, property damage, and medical coverage. Bids may be for one or both cemeteries.
