Sealed bids are requested for furnishing and delivering items requisitioned by the LaPorte County Highway Superintendent for the repair and maintenance of county roads and bridges for the year 2026. Annual bids will be received for materials, supplies, and/or services including Bituminous Materials and Application, Hot Asphalt Concrete, Pavement Markings, and Fiberized Crack Sealant. Bidders must supply samples as required, comply with applicable statutes and labor laws, and affirm Equal Opportunity Employment. Each bid must include a bid bond or certified check in the required amount. If labor or material application is involved, a performance bond for double the amount of the bid is required. Bid prices must be firm and net for the year, including all taxes, and all discounts or rebates must be clearly stated. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid in the best interest of LaPorte County, and may re-advertise and solicit new bids if necessary.
