Question Deadline 02/13/2026 Each request for clarification shall be made in writing to the City/County or engineer no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening. Bids are invited for the following items and quantities of work: 1. Wingwall (SW-0)(HW=12FT); 2. Metal W-beam guard fence (metal post); 3. Guardrail end treatment move and reset; 4. Temporary special shoring. Bidders must submit a bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety, or a certified check or bank draft payable to Burleson County or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) in lieu of the Bid Bond. The project is financed through the General Land Office under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wage rates must be paid. The successful bidder must ensure non-discrimination in employment. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to the contract award. Minority, Small, Women, Veteran-Owned, Section 3, and labor surplus area businesses are encouraged to submit bids. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities. Bids may be held for up to 60 days from opening for review and qualification investigation purposes.
