The purpose of this bid invitation is to establish a source of supply to provide PVI Conquest gas heaters, Durawatt electric water heaters, Vaughn electric water heaters and Patteron-Kelley boilers to Berkeley County School District. There are no approved alternates or equals due to standardization. This shall be a supply only contract. Installation shall be performed by BCSD maintenance personnel. The water heaters and boilers shall be purchased on an as- needed basis, to be used in buildings owned/maintained by the District. All equipment must be factory-new and comply with the standards and specifications contained herein. No minimum orders are guaranteed. All questions must be submitted, via email, at daviscatherine@bcsdschools.net prior to the deadline for questions stated herein The right is reserved to reject and return at the risk and expense of the vendor such portions of any shipment that may be defective or fail to comply with specifications and without validating the reminder of the order. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be a one (1) year contract with an automatic renewal for four (4) additional one-year renewal options. The maximum potential contract life is five (5) years. The Superintendent may extend this contract for an additional two (2) years through March 23, 2033.
