It is the intent of Berkeley County School District (hereinafter referred to as the "District") to solicit proposals from qualified Motorola Solutions Authorized Dealer and Service Provider to provide and support the District's existing communication system, including but not limited to: o Purchase, delivery, programming, and installation of Motorola radio equipment o Maintenance and service of all district radio communication systems o Management of FCC licenses o Rapid-response repair services o System upgrades, interoperability, and lifecycle support o Vehicle upfitting for radios, mounts, and related equipment (where required) o In-building signal enhancement systems (BDA), Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement Systems (ERCES), and districtwide radio system support. Question Deadline 02/18/2026 at 4:00 PM ET Questions or problems arising after award of this contract shall be directed to the Procurement Official at PO Box 128, 229 East Main Street, Moncks Corner, SC 29461 MAXIMUM CONTRACT PERIOD -- ESTIMATED: Start date: June 2, 2026. End date: June 1, 2031. Dates provided are estimates only. Any resulting contract will begin on the date specified in the notice of award. See clause entitled "Term of Contract - Effective Date/Initial Contract Period". [01-1040-1] The contract resulting from this solicitation will be a one (1) year contract with four (4) additional one-year renewal options. The maximum potential contract life is five (5) years. . The District reserves the right to order equipment as needed. No guarantee is given, express or implied, as to actual quantities to be ordered during the intended term of the contract.
