Contractor shall sweep Parking Garage Levels One and Two, Main Loading Dock and North Loading Dock, and I-5 Parking Lot for the Oregon Convention Center and Parking Lots for the Portland Expo Center on an on-call or scheduled basis. Services include but are not limited to: Using specialized equipment to sweep, vacuum, contain and dispose of trash, leaves, dirt, sand, and other debris from parking garage, parking lots, sidewalks and loading docks. Battery powered backpack blower to move debris away from sidewalks, curbs and building sides Collecting and disposing of all types of debris. Surface cleaning: hot or low pressure power washing or using other methods to clean concrete and asphalt surfaces and curbs and removal of grease and oil stains from parking garage stalls as requested. Line striping, curb and symbol painting as requested. Metro may request written estimates for additional work. Estimates will be at no cost to Metro. If estimate is accepted work will be specified in written work order prior to commencement of work. The work hours for requested projects will be estimated and placed on a work order for that project. Work will be specified in the written work order. The Contractor will invoice Metro and reference the original work order number on the invoice. Metro intends to award the contract to multiple firms. The term of the contract is anticipated to be March 2026 through February 2031. A Bidder may withdraw its bid by written request which are received prior to the scheduled closing time for filing Bids. Negligence on the part of the Bidder in preparing his or her bid confers no right to withdraw the bid after the scheduled closing time for filing Bids. Contractor must have five (5) or more years of successful experience in the area of commercial parking garage and lot sweeping and maintenance. Bidders must have a low-profile sweeper truck to accommodate Parking Garage Level P1 - 6'7" and Parking Garage Level P2 - 9' H at the Oregon Convention Center. Qualifications and references shall be supplied with bid. Metro reserves the right to evaluate, approve or reject firms on the basis of their review.
