Existing Site Organic Material: For the 8" of soils to be excavated, the topsoil should be used on the slopes of the new access road and hardstand to help establish vegetation. All excess soils should be removed from the site. Existing Stone Storage Pile: The existing onsite stone pile is committed to another project and may not be used as part of this project. The contractor shall plan on providing all stone required to complete the work shown on the plans. Cleared and Grubbed Trees: The contractor has the option to pile and burning cleared and grubbed trees onsite. If the contractor elects to use this disposal method, the burn pile shall be located away from the proposed stone hardstand area and shall be performed in accordance with all federal, state, and local requirements. The contractor also has the option to haul off and dispose of the cleared and grubbed tree material.
