Description

Renovation of a transportation facility in Compton, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

ACCESS SERVICES seeks to retain a progressive design build team (comprising a general contractor, architect, key subconsultants, and key trade partners) for the redevelopment of the Avalon Facility at 15914 S. Avalon Boulevard, Compton, California, through a best value evaluation process. The project requires compliance with state and federal prevailing wage laws, and is partially funded with federal funds, thus all work must adhere to federal requirements, including the Build America Buy America Act and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Bidders must possess a valid California Class “B” Contractor’s License; lead architects and engineers must be licensed in California. A proposal bond of $25,000 is required, as are payment and performance bonds in accordance with the RFQ terms. All enterprises are encouraged to participate.
