Site Directions: Latitude: 34 47'29.26"N Longitude: 96 40'11.82"W The project consists of the reconstruction and new roadway alignment of approximately 7,640 linear feet of Mississippi Avenue, from Lonnie Abbott Boulevard to Tower Road. Work includes demolition and removal of existing concrete pavement; erosion control; temporary traffic control; construction of new concrete pavement; aggregate base pavement; installation of storm sewer pipe and inlets, culvert pipe, and reinforced concrete boxes (RCBs); sidewalk ramp installations; signing; pavement marking; water line installation; and sanitary sewer installation. Bids will be received for a single prime contract and shall be submitted on a unit-price basis as a Base Bid and Bid Alternate No. 1. Prequalification of bidders is not required. Bidders will be evaluated in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified or cashier's check or a Bid Bond equal to 5% of the total bid price. Work must be substantially completed within 180 calendar days from the start of Contract Times and fully completed within 210 calendar days, in accordance with the General Conditions. Substantial Completion includes all work identified in the Contract Documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities. Submission of a bid constitutes agreement by the bidder to these conditions, without recourse against the Owner.
