Site work and new construction of a service station / car wash facility in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a service station / car wash facility.

The work consists of constructing a fueling station located at the Fayetteville Police Department. Bidders are required to review the drawings and specifications to verify the full scope of the work, submit unit and lump sum prices sufficient for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and apparatus necessary to construct, erect, and finish all work as specified or indicated on the drawings. The contractor is responsible for all local surveys, estimates, investigations, and obtaining necessary permits. The work also includes restoring the site to its former condition after any required explorations or studies and complying with all relevant safety and legal requirements. Mobilization costs are limited and must not include bonds, insurance, or trench/excavation safety. All dumpsters used must be procured through Fayetteville Recycling & Trash, and open burning or blasting is not allowed. The lands and access required for temporary construction facilities, equipment, and storage are to be obtained and paid for by the contractor, unless otherwise indicated. The contractor must coordinate with the City regarding the timing of notice to proceed and material ordering. The contractor must also provide weekly project updates to City staff, including reports, photographs, and schedules, as directed by the City. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds and be properly licensed and registered with the Arkansas Secretary of State. Instructions to bidders include, but are not limited to: reviewing and using complete bid documents from the official source, site examination, providing all required signatures and evidence of requisite licenses, submitting a 5% bid bond or cashier’s check, acknowledging all addenda, and fulfilling insurance and bonding requirements. Bids must include all specified costs and be submitted electronically or in a sealed envelope before the deadline. Bids that are incomplete, unbalanced, conditional, or non-compliant with instructions may be rejected. The City reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject bids, or postpone the contract award. The contractor must indemnify the City and comply with all applicable laws and safety regulations throughout the project. The contractor must not disrupt ongoing operations at the project site and must coordinate any necessary shutdowns with the owner. All requirements for materials, insurance, licensing, and documentation must be followed as stated in the instructions.
