Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Springfield, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The project will include full pavement repair and surface restoration between Centennial Boulevard and Tamarack Street. Wastewater system repairs will be carried out within the project limits as necessary to support long-term roadway performance. New sidewalks will be constructed where gaps currently exist, and existing sidewalks will be repaired as needed. Pedestrian curb ramps will be upgraded to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. The project will preserve the roadway, improve underground infrastructure, and provide continuous sidewalk access in front of Centennial Elementary School. Instructions to bidders specify that bid documents are available online, and all questions should be directed to the specified Contracts Analyst. Bids must comply with state prevailing wage rates, include statements regarding resident bidder status, and include assurances of compliance with relevant state statutes. All contractors must have current, valid certificates of licensure as required. The City may reject any or all bids for non-compliance or in the public interest. Participation from minority, woman-owned, and emerging small businesses is encouraged. Sealed bids will be received at City Hall Development and Public Works until the deadline and opened immediately online.
