Reference Number 0000412151 The County of Peoria is currently accepting qualification statements from interested firms for Architectural and Engineering Services. The project includes the construction of an estimated 6,000 square-foot, fully functioning kitchen addition and a secure detention corridor connected to the existing jail for food delivery. The kitchen addition will be located on the existing campus, consistent with the site plan. The new kitchen will be operated by a third-party vendor responsible for meal preparation. As part of this project, the existing kitchen space will be converted into a laundry facility. The approximately 3,800 square-foot area will be renovated to accommodate washing, drying, and folding operations. The new building will be designed to match the architectural aesthetic of the existing facility.
