Site work for a water / sewer project in Buellton, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of March 16, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Installation of conduit via directional drilling and open trench, installation of electrical vault, removal of existing underground facilities, and appropriate traffic control measures required. The work includes mobilization, preparation and implementation of all traffic control necessary for a safe work area, installation of 1-4" electrical conduit by horizontal directional drilling, installation of 1-3" electrical conduit by open trench, installation of a 24"x36"x26" secondary electric underground enclosure, and removal or relocation of known underground facilities in conflict with proposed construction. All work must meet PG&E requirements and standards and be performed to the satisfaction of PG&E and the City Inspector. Restoration of site improvements, such as concrete sidewalks, curb, asphalt, and landscaping, to pre-construction conditions or better is required as needed. Bidders are required to inspect the site and are responsible for understanding the existing conditions and requirements. Bids shall be all inclusive for the completion of the project, including mobilization costs and incidentals. Bid submission must be prepared on the approved forms in conformance with the bid documents, and compliance with wage rates and labor code requirements is mandatory. All contractors and subcontractors must be pre-qualified to work on PG&E projects and registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. Monthly progress payments will be made, with 5% retained as security for completion. Question Deadline 02/16/2026 at 12:00 PM PT There will be NO pre-bid meeting.
