The work to be performed or executed under these specifications consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as required by this request for informal bid and the plans and specifications prepared by Wallace Group/Cleath-Harris Geologists dated May 2025. The general items of work to be done hereunder consist of the following the complete and satisfactory construction, and development, of three groundwater monitoring wells specified herein. The general work related to well drilling and construction shall include but not be limited to the following: o Obtain all required permits including a water well drilling permits from the County of Santa Barbara and an encroachment permit from the City of Buellton for MW-4 (upgradient well). o Notify Underground Services Alert and obtain valid ticket. o Attend pre-construction meeting. o Provide traffic control signage as needed in accordance with encroachment permit. o Move equipment, materials, supplies, and other accessories onto and from the well sites. o Three wells will be constructed and developed (see Well Construction Summary). All wells are anticipated to be in unconsolidated alluvial sediments. o The drilling method shall be hollow-stem auger (no drilling mud). Provide continuous core samples of the formation. o Properly manage and dispose of construction debris, including cuttings, well development water. o Clean up/restore sites. Question Deadline 07/25/2025 at 3:00 PM PT Any questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing and submitted to Steve Tanaka, Wallace Group If, during the course of examination or review of the plans, scope or other details, a bidder finds facts or conditions which appear to conflict with the letter or spirit of the contract documents, or with any other data furnished, the bidder may submit to the City in writing a request for additional information and explanation before submitting a bid.
