The project generally consists of Tree Removal, Pruning, and Emergency Response on an as-needed basis authorized by the City of Riverside. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project are required, as practicable, to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Contractor compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. Only contractors currently pre-qualified in the proper work type by the Ohio Department of Transportation are eligible to submit bids. A bidder must possess work types equal to at least 75% of the total amount of the submitted bid price. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Montgomery County and the City of Riverside, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration.
