Sealed Bids for the construction of Cured In Place Pipe will be received by the City of Smithville, Missouri. The work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 1,850 feet of Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) and the rehabilitation of approximately 123 vertical feet of sanitary sewer manhole. Bids must be addressed to Mayra Toothman at 107 W. Main Street, Smithville, Missouri 64089 and received before the closing time. Pricing and all RFP-related materials should be submitted in a sealed envelope, preferably using the proposal response form provided in the RFP. Two original proposals must be submitted in a sealed and clearly marked envelope with the RFP number and date of closing. Only the names of vendors or proposers will be read at closing. Copies of contract documents may be obtained for a non-refundable fee from Drexel Technologies online or at their physical address. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid total must be furnished. The City of Smithville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities, and to accept the offer deemed most advantageous.
