Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kingman, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are requested for a Surface Overlay Project on NE 10th St. (Old Hwy 54), Phase II, in Kingman County, KS. The work includes an asphalt overlay consisting of a 1" leveling course and a 1.5" surface course. The base bid covers a segment about 300' west of NE 60th Ave. and extends approximately 4.0 miles east to the west returns at NE 100th Ave., with approximate quantities specified for HMA-Commercial Grade (Class A), patching, milling, temporary pavement marking, mobilization, traffic control, and flagger. An alternate project section covers a 3.5 mile segment beginning about 0.5 miles west of NE 30th Ave. and extending to NE 60th Ave., with similar types of work and quantities. All equipment, materials, and workmanship must comply with the Standard Specifications for State Road and Bridge Construction of the Kansas Department of Transportation, 2007 Edition, including all supplemental specifications and special provisions, as well as applicable local construction standards and procedures provided in the contract documents.
