The City of Gardner is requesting qualified contractors to submit proposals for Unit 1 Turbine Major Inspection including LA to R Upgrade, Generator Inspection and Cooling System Improvements. This project qualifies for sales tax exemption on equipment, materials, and supplies. A mandatory site visit is required for each firm to evaluate current equipment installation and determine the best approach for the proposal. Proposals must be submitted digitally to the City of Gardner Utilities Department and are preferred by mail or email, or by printed hard copy with a digital copy on USB in a sealed envelope. Late submissions will not be considered. Copies of plans and specifications can be reviewed or purchased for a non-refundable fee online or obtained from Drexel Technologies, with all related shipping charges the responsibility of the requester. Corporate, certified, or cashier’s checks for documents should be made payable to Drexel Technologies, Inc.
