Sealed bids are requested for the construction of Bid No. 2674 McCord Elementary School New Restroom Building according to the contract documents, drawings, and specifications. The Owner may add or deduct any items after determining the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. The lowest bid will be based on the base bid amount. Bidders must pay prevailing wage rates as ascertained by the Director of Industrial Relations. Compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations is required. For projects over $25,000, contractors and subcontractors must be registered and qualified under Labor Code section 1725.5 and provide proof of registration. Bidders must state the public works contractor registration number for each subcontractor performing more than 0.5% of the bid. The contract time is from March 16, 2026, to June 30, 2026 (106 calendar days), and liquidated damages for delay will apply.
