Reference Number 0000412157 Question Deadline 02/26/2026 at 11:00 AM ET Questions are submitted online Yes, Requests for interpretation and other questions shall be submitted to Peter Georgetti, P.E. from Pare Corporation by email at pgeorgetti@parecorp.com The Town of Jamestown, Rhode Island is seeking bids for the installation of new cellular network water meters at approximately 1,600 residences and businesses in the Jamestown Water District service area. The cellular network water meters to be installed range in size from 5/8-inch to 2-inch, complete with encoder and RF modules. Meters and RF modules will be purchased by the Town under a separate contract. The successful Proposer shall furnish a 100 percent Construction Performance Bond and a 100 percent Labor and Material Bond with a RI licensed surety company acceptable to the Owner. The Notice to Proceed is anticipated to be issued by March 30, 2026. The number of days to achieve Substantial Completion is set at 184 days following the Notice to Proceed. The number of days to achieve readiness for final payment is set at 214 days following the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be in the amount of $1500.00 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for Substantial Completion The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
