Site work for a fire / police facility in Orlando, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.
The project is for the Fire Station #1 Conex Box Relocation. The scope of work includes: SITE & CIVIL WORK: After the Owner removes the existing Conex boxes, the Contractor is to remove existing millings and install reinforced grass per the CFTOD Emergency Access Lane stabilized sod detail. The Contractor must provide excavation, trenching, backfill, and restoration; install silt fence protection around all open excavations and pits; provide concrete pads and foundations as required, including a reinforced concrete pad for the dry-type transformer; and install reinforced precast concrete utility posts set forty-eight inches below grade. ELECTRICAL & UNDERGROUND UTILITIES: The Contractor will provide and install underground conduit systems, including 3" HDPE directional drilled conduit and 3" direct-buried Schedule 40 PVC conduit. The work includes providing direct-buried conduit and cable between transformers, disconnects, racks, and equipment as shown; installing electrical pull boxes, grounding system, and associated hardware; furnishing and installing equipment racks/frames using stainless steel Unistrut and hardware mounted to concrete posts; and removing existing service cables, racks, and transformers upon completion. CONTAINER FURNISHINGS & MODIFICATIONS: The Contractor is to provide and install one 40-foot ISO steel shipping container modified with three industrial roll-up doors and a complete HVAC system, as well as three 30-foot steel shipping containers with HVAC systems and access doors as detailed. All containers must be secure, weather-resistant, and climate-controlled, with marine-grade flooring. The Contractor must provide electrical distribution panels, dedicated HVAC circuits, and compliant wiring systems within the containers. The basis of award will be the lowest responsive bidder of the combined pricing for all line items. Attendance at a pre-bid meeting is required. The response format is electronic, with required attachments such as various affidavits, licenses, certifications, and forms. Bids must include a bid bond (5%), payment bond (100%), and performance bond (100%). All bidder communications must be directed only to the Procurement Department per anti-lobbying rules.
