Sealed Bids for construction of the 2026 Sturgeon Point Marina Dredging in the Town of Evans, NY will be received. The work consists of providing equipment and labor to dredge built up material in and at the mouth of the Marina. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract and shall be on a unit price basis. All dredging work must be completed in accordance with the existing USACE permit. Bids submitted by fax or email will not be accepted. Only Bidders receiving bid documents from the Issuing Office (electronic or printed) will be allowed to submit a bid. Requests for Information (RFI) will only be accepted in written form. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, with each bid accompanied by a certified bank check or bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract amounts. Bidders must comply with Executive Orders 11246 and 11375, the Iran Divestment Act of 2012, and provide a non-collusive bidding certificate. All Bids must be accompanied by the contractor’s Certificate of Registration. All bids shall be binding for sixty (60) days after the opening date. The Town of Evans reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities therein. The Town is exempt from New York State sales and compensation use taxes on materials, equipment, and supplies for the contract.
