The project consists of the interior and exterior repainting of the 1.0 MG Beacon Light Road Tank. Bids will be received for a single prime contract and shall be on a lump sum basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security, as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish additional bonds as prescribed in the Bidding Documents. To perform public work, the successful bidder and subcontractors prior to contract award shall hold or obtain such license as required by State statutes, and Federal and local laws and regulations. Bids will not be accepted from bidders that have been barred from competing on public works under General Municipal Law 5A-103-b or determined to be non-responsive by the New York State Office of General Services. This project is a covered project under New York State Labor Law 220-I and the bidder must hold a valid Certificate of Registration from the New York State Department of Labor to submit a bid and at all times for the duration of the Work. Purchases made by the Town are not subject to any sales tax and bidders shall not include sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials. Exemption certificates will be executed upon request. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids or any bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents. Question Deadline 03/04/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
