**As of May 7, 2026, the project was awarded to Mick Mehler & Sons, Inc, with an awarded amount of $177,883.02.** The scope of work includes construction of approximately 2,226 linear feet of gravel access road with grading and associated restoration, and other incidental items and work as described in the Project Manual or reasonably inferable from it. Construction shall include storm culverts for drainage and rip-rap blankets for soil stabilization. The access road will receive 2-inch minus base material for construction access to the future water treatment plant site. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid, in accordance with the instructions. The project is subject to predetermined wage rates as required by law. The successful bidder must submit a sworn affidavit and documentation affirming enrollment and participation in the federal work authorization program, and verify that all employees performing contracted services are not illegal immigrants. Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246. Upon signing the contract, the contractor and any subcontractor must provide a ten-hour OSHA construction safety program for on-site employees.
