Sealed proposals for Willow Street Park - Electrical Improvements will be received online via the PennBid Program by West Lampeter Township. The work generally includes electrical service and site lighting associated with the new parking area, playground, walking trail, and basketball court. The project is being constructed at the same time as the park and playground, and the contractor must coordinate their work with other projects underway on site, including separate contracts for the general contractor/construction of the park, development of the playground, and anticipated pad and pavilion construction within the park. Moore Engineering is serving as the Electrical Engineer for the project. Bids must cover all costs for the completion of this project as set forth in the Project Manual. Bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid will be required, and all bids will remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of bid opening. Bidders must comply with State anti-kickback regulations, submit an executed anti-collusion statement, and comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442 – Session of 1961) since the contract is estimated to cost more than $25,000.00. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract and each with satisfactory corporate surety, will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder at the time stated in the specifications. West Lampeter Township reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, or informalities in bids received, to reject any and/or all bids submitted, and to accept any bid which it may deem to be in the best interests of the Township.
