SBG 15-13-2023 (Design) Install Perimeter/Wildlife Fencing which includes tree and brush clearing and grubbing, erosion control measures, installation of approximately 5,525 feet of Wildlife Exclusion Fence with Skirt, topsoil, seed, and site restoration. Bidders must furnish a bid bond, and the successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. Failure to submit all information as detailed in the Proposal and/or submission of an unbalanced bid are sufficient reasons to declare a bid as non-responsive and subject to disqualification. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, to waive any formality or errors in the bidding, and to accept the bid deemed in the owner's best interest, or to purchase on the open market if deemed in the owner's best interest. If the work remains incomplete after the specified time, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages of $2,500.00 per day for each calendar day that the work remains incomplete beyond the specified time for the project or any of its subphases/phases/bid schedules. The project is subject to various federal, state, and local requirements, including but not limited to civil rights, Buy American preference, Foreign Trade Restriction, minimum wage rates, Debarment and Suspension, and Drug-free Workplace requirements. Assurance and/or Certification statements as provided in the bid documents must be executed and submitted at the time of the bid opening.
