General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % A certified check or bid bond for a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Proposal will be required with each bid. *The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any parts of any and all bids, to waive irregularities and to award in the best interests of the City of Midland. a. SCOPE OF WORK: i. The City of Midland is seeking bids for the fabrication and delivery of one (1) 10,000-gallon, lined, rectangular, UL2085 Fireguard(R) protected aboveground storage tank (AST) specifically for Jet A fuel service. The contractor shall be responsible for all materials, fabrication, testing, and transport to the project site in Midland, MI. b. TECHNICAL SPEIFICATIONS: i. Detailed technical specifications, material requirements, and engineering drawings for the tank are provided in Exhibit B, as prepared by NTH Consultants. All fabrications must strictly adhere to the dimensions and standards set forth in those documents.
